Hopper Lift Conveyor

Introduction

The hopper lift conveyor, also known as a bucket elevator, is designed for material transfer from lower to higher levels. After materials are fed into the hopper via a vibrating table, the machine automatically operates continuously to transport them upward. The conveying speed can be adjusted according to the required throughput, and the lifting height can be selected as needed. The hopper is self-designed and manufactured, with non-toxic PP material making this type of bucket elevator more widely applicable. All dimensions are custom-designed to meet actual requirements, compatible with vertical packaging machines and computerized metering systems. It is suitable for elevating and feeding products such as food, pharmaceuticals, chemical industrial goods, screws, and nuts. The machine can be automatically controlled to start or stop based on signals from the packaging machine.

The hopper scoops material from the lower storage bin, which is then lifted to the top by the conveyor belt or chain. After passing over the top pulley, the material is flipped downward and discharged into the receiving trough by the bucket elevator. Belt-driven bucket elevators typically use rubber belts mounted on drive drums at the bottom or top, along with deflection drums on both sides. Chain-driven models usually feature two parallel drive chains with a pair of driving sprockets at the top or bottom and a pair of deflection sprockets at the bottom or top. Most bucket elevators are equipped with a casing to prevent dust dispersion.
